Online Betting Limits

All sides and totals in all sports carry a maximum bet of $1500, except for MLB baseball which carry a maximum bet of $750. For WNBA wagers, the maximum we accept is $500.

Non-standard bets carry different limits. Please see the tables below for more information.

The minimum bet for ALL SPORTSBOOK WAGERS is just $1!

All Casino games offer a minimum wager of $1

Straight Wagers
The team wagered on must win by the point spread given at the time of the wager. For straight wagers, unless otherwise indicated, the odds are 11/10; that is, $110 risked to win $100. Games that tie are considered "no action" and money is re-deposited back into your account unless choosing a tie was a betting option. Due to changing events, the point spread may fluctuate at any time.

Example
Player wagers $110.00 on Miami -7 to beat Buffalo +7

If Miami wins by more than 7 points the player wins $100.00 so the total payout including the initial wager would be $210.00. If Miami wins by exactly 7 points then the game is considered "no action" and all money is returned to the bettor. If the Miami wins by less than 7 points the wager is lost.

Placing a Wager
Click on the small box beside the team and the line you wish to wager on. You may only choose one team in a straight wager.

Totals
The bettors picks whether the combined score of both teams for the game(s) wagered on will be over or under a certain number. All totals lay $110 to win $100 unless it is otherwise indicated.

Example
The player lays $220.00 on the OVER in the Miami/Buffalo game. The total for the game is 45. If both teams' combined score is more than 45 than the player would win $200.00. If the combined score is equal to 45 the game is considered "no action" and the money is returned. If the combined score is less than 45 then the wager is lost.

Placing a Wager
Click on the small box beside either the "Over" or the "Under" and that will be your wager. You can only choose one total wager per bet.

Money Line Wagers
The team wagered on must win the game. The amount you lay or take for each game varies. The money line at the time of your wager is the money line your wager is evaluated against regardless of any line movement.

Example
The player wagers on Miami -160 at Buffalo +260. If Miami wins then the player would lay $160.00 to win $100.00. If the player bet on Buffalo then the player would lay $100.00 to win $260.00

Placing a Wager
Click on the small box beside the team and the money line associated with that team. You can only pick one team per money line wager.

Halftime
All wagers must go the full half to have action (first half and second half). All halftime wagers are calculated the same as a straight wager unless otherwise indicated. There are no teaser plays or buying of points on halftimes. For half time wagers, overtime periods are included as part of the 2nd half.

Parlays
This is a selection of 2 or more teams (up to 12 teams) or propositions in no particular order. All teams wagered on in a parlay must win. If there is a tie, it reverts to the next lowest number for payoff calculations.

Example
A player wants to make a 5-team basketball parlay. He chooses:

Miami -7, New York +3, Seattle -4, Denver -10, Golden State -8

If all these games win then the player would have won at 25/1 odds. If any of the five teams loses then the entire parlay loses.

Placing a Wager
After you have determined the number of teams that you want in your parlay bet, click on the small box beside each of the teams and/or totals that you want included in your parlay wager.

Note: * The maximum bets for parlays are as follows: 2- or 3-team parlays: $1000. 4- through 9-team parlays: $500. 10- through 12-team parlays: $300.

Progressive Parlays
Only a handful of sportsbooks offer Progressive Parlays, and you will not find these anywhere in Las Vegas.

How does a Progressive Parlay work? It's quite simple. In exchange for not getting quite as big a payout for picking a perfect combination, you get insurance for those occasions when one or more or the teams in your parlay loses.

Here is an example: An 8-team progressive parlay for $10 will pay $750 for selecting a perfect 8-team winning combination. If you picked 7 winners, you win $100. Even if you only pick 6 out of 8 correctly, you win $20.

Take a look at the extraordinary value that GoSportsBet.com is offering:

" Place a $10 wager on a 12-team parlay with our competitors and you will win $6,000 if you get all 12 right. However, if 1 of your 12 teams loses, you lose your $10.
" Place a $10 wager on a 12-team parlay at GoSportsBet.com and not only do you win 50% more, or $9,000, if you get all 12 correct, but you still win $100 even if 2 of your teams lose.

Note: Progressive parlay odds are based on point spread wagering options only. The payout calculations are based on these odds. Progressive parlays are not available for MLB, NHL or money line wagers in football and basketball.

Note: A tie is considered a loss for that particular game, not for the entire wager. For example, in a 4-team progressive parlay, 2 wins, 1 tie and 1 loss is a losing wager because there are only 2 wins and not 3. *You can not bet on the money line or the totals for progressive parlay wagers. Progressive Parlays apply to College and Pro football and basketball only.

Note: * The maximum bets for progressive parlays are as follows: 4- through 9-team progressive parlays: $500. 10- through 12-team progressive parlays: $300.

Teasers
A Teaser is a selection of two or more teams in one wager in which the point spread can be adjusted in your favor. The number of teams selected and the number of points selected determines the payout odds. A "Tie" or "No Action" and a "Win" on a two-team teaser shall constitute a "No Action" wager. A "Tie" or "No Action" and a "Loss" on a two-team teaser shall constitute a losing wager. Ties on a three or more team teaser shall revert to the next lowest betting bracket. (Example: A tie on a three-team teaser becomes a two team teaser.)

An example of a teaser wager is as follows. For our example, let us say you wish to choose three football teams: Denver -7, New York Jets -3, and Chicago +15. The payout of the wager depends on how many points you wish to receive. Say you choose a 3-team, 7-point teaser. If we look at the chart below, this wager is listed as 12/10, which means you will win $12 for every $10 that you wager. The point spreads are adjusted as follows:

  • Denver -7 plus the adjusted seven points = Even
  • New York -3 plus the adjusted seven points = +4
  • Chicago +15 plus the adjusted seven points = +22
Therefore, if all three teams win against the adjusted spread, you win $12 for every $10 you wager.

Propositions and Futures
Future wagers are based on the outcome of events that happen each year. All wagers are final. There will be no payouts until the conclusion of the specified season. Proposition plays are also wagers based on the outcome of events that happen each year. Odds change daily and all wagers are considered action at the odds quoted at the time of the wager.

Placing a Wager
Click on the box beside the team you wish you to wager on. You get the odds at the time that you placed the wager.

Buying Points
Buying Points allows you the ability to change the point spread of a football or basketball game. You can move the point spread so you get more points if you are betting the underdog or you give away less points if you are betting the favorite. For each half point that you change the point spread your potential payout decreases by roughly 8.33%.

For example, if you are betting the Lakers -5 -110 (lay $110 to win $100), you can buy the Lakers a half point to -4.5, and risk $110 to win $91.67. You can buy the Lakers a full point to -4 and risk $110 to win $83.33.

The same theory is true for the underdog. If the Bulls are +4 +100 (the standard bet; $110 risked to win $100), you can buy the game to +4.5 +91.67 ($110 risked to win $91.67) or +5 +83.33, and so on.

You can only buy a maximum of 3 points in Football and Basketball, both college and pro.

There is one special rule. When buying on or off the number 3 in the NFL, there is a premium cost of 16.66% instead of 8.33%. So, for example, to move the Chargers from -3 -110 to -2.5, the new line will be -2.5 +83.33 (risk $110 to win $83.33). The same is true for the underdog: to buy the Bears from +3 -110 to +3.5 you will risk $110 to win $83.33.

If Bets - If Win / If Action

An If Win bet is an excellent choice in terms of money management. You wager a fixed amount on one team, and if that team wins, then the same amount as your original wager is placed on a different team.

Note: Limits are set to the same limits as the total for the event

For example, you can have a two team If Win bet for $11 on the Bears and Giants. If the Bears win, you risked $11 to win $10 and now you have another $11 wager on the Giants. If they win, then you win another $10 for a total of $20 in winnings. If the Giants lose, then you lose $1, because you won $10 on the Bears and you lose $11 on the Giants. If the Bears lost, then you lose your original $11 and you have no bet on the Giants.

Examples

Bears Raiders Chiefs Packers Win/Loss Total
Risk $11 $11 $11 $11 $11
To Win $10 $10 $10 $10

Scenario One Win Win Win Win
Result +$10 +$10 +$10 +$10 +$40

Scenario Two Win Win Win Lose
Result +$10 +$10 +$10 -$11 +$19

Scenario Three Win Win Lose No Bet
Result +$10 +$10 -$11 +$9

Scenario Four Win Lose No Bet No Bet
Result +$10 -$11 -$1

Scenario Five Lose No Bet No Bet No Bet
Result -$11 -$11

Your first wager must win in order for you to have action on the remaining wagers. If the first wager loses, there is No Action thereafter. You can put between 2 and 7 teams in an If Win bet.

How is an If Action Bet Different?

There is a simple difference between an If Win bet and an If Action bet. In an If Win bet your first wager must WIN in order for the next wager to have action. In an If Action bet each wager must WIN or PUSH (tie) in order for the next wager to have action. While the Push will result in neither a win nor a lose for you on that particular game, we will continue on to the next wager in your bet whereas in an If Win bet we would have stopped the bet at the Push.

Placing a Wager
If Bets are a type of combination bet so you will need to choose multiple teams. Click on the small box beside the teams or totals you wish to wager on.

Note: The maximum bet for If Win or If Action bets is $500.

Reverse Wagers
Reverses revert to individual If Bets. You can include up to 8 teams in a Reverse. The payoffs vary depending on the number of teams wagered on. A 2-Team Reverse pays 4/1, a 3-Team Reverse pays 12/1 (if the wager is $100). Standard reverse bets are Double Action; therefore in the event of a tie the bet is still active.

European Odds
European odds are different from the North American style of odds. In North America, money lines are used to determine the line. In North America, a team that is +140 would be a 40 point underdog. This means that for every $100 wagered the bettor would win $140. For this to be true in a European style of betting, the odds would be 2.40 -- meaning that for $100 wagered the bettor would win $140. The 2.40 represents the entire amount wagered and won by the bettor.
